FRIDAY MAY 2, 2014..........WE WILL BE GOING TO THE SOFTBALL ACADEMY.  PICK UP WILL BE AT 4:30 AT THE ACADEMY.  CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU ALL!!!!!

It was soooo nice to see my Goal Getters today!!!!! I have not seen my 7-8th graders for a Friday and a Monday, I didn't get to see my 5-6th graders Friday but got to see them Wed, and today with everybody there at the Academy, my heart was smiling Mr. Nick has done a wonderful job on Fridays with the kids and I really appreciate him and all he does for the kids. My 3 High School Leaders, all I can say is AWESOME AND WONDERFUL and Thank You The kids are truly Goal Getters and have followed every expectation and every rule. Today it was so touching to see how they cheered each other on. When we had a couple of kids struggling, but not giving up, the whole group went out and joined to help them finish the exercise. That is what I call, "TEAMWORK". No one makes fun of anyone. We all encourage and help each Goal Getter. It's hard to believe that this is the end of week 5. I get sad because my 8th graders will be leaving the group but I am hoping next year to keep them involved. Good job to everyone and thanks for making me proud of you.

Friday April 25, 2014 WE WILL BE AT THE SOFTBALL ACADEMY PICK UP WILL BE AT 4:30!!!

Friday April 25, 2014...We will be going to Chenoweth Trails. Pick up is at the Jr. High parking lot at 4:30 ish. Remember we can not pass so it may take a few minutes for us. I can not wait!!!!!

Once again a WONDERFUL week with my Goal Getters. I think my Jr. High kids could play basketball for the whole hour and a half Love it when it then becomes fooskaball (football and basketball combo) Then we have my AWESOME south Goal Getters. I did hear one girl say that her legs were a little sore but when she went home, she went for a 3 mile walk. LOVE IT!!!! Their favorite thing to do after a good workout is dodgeball Love all the fun we are having and on top of that.....MOVING our bodies, not just our thumbs!! Well I hope each one of you have a wonderful Spring Break and my South Goal Getters, I will see you Wednesday April 23.

Goal Getters and Parents, there will be no Fun Friday April 18, 2014. We will have it Monday April 14, and Wednesday April 16, but no Friday April 18. Enjoy your Easter weekend.

Goal Getter Parents.... I am so sorry that some of you could not find the Softball Academy. Also I apologize because the email that I sent yesterday at school did not go through. I just tried it again and it came back and send could not send so Monday I will have someone look to see what is going on so I apologize. I did put it on the blog and I put the message on facebook as to where we were going. I did also mention it to the students Thursday at lunch where we were going and again at the end of the day. I then today at lunch reminded them where we were going and asked them if all their parents knew. Other than that, I think the kids had a great time today and they should be pretty worn out and tired. A good bunch of kids and thank you parents for understanding. I do try my best to get the information out. My computer had been gone getting worked on but I will check into that. Again I am sorry that some of you could not find it and it was not a problem that I had to wait. If you have friends on facebook and their child is in Goal Getters, ask them to be added to the page so they can also get the updates. Have a wonderful weekend, go outside, get some fresh air, go for a walk, ride bikes and enjoy the beautiful weather.
